Dr. Garth Webb

Dr. Garth Webb is a 1977 graduate of the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and co-founded the Complete EyeCare Optometry Clinic together with Dr. Mary Lou Riederer in the fall of that year. Dr. Webb continues to enjoy all aspects of general optometry practice and welcome new patients of every demographic.

Dr. Webb has the distinction of being the youngest Chair in the history of the Board of Examiners in Optometry for British Columbia and is the recipient of the 2004 BCOA Optometrist of the Year Award.

Outside private practice, Dr. Webb has registered several international patents, the latest of which is a lens system called, iSYS Adaptive Lenses. iSYS Adaptive Lenses are used to make intraocular implants which are capable of restoring perfect eyesight. These intraocular lenses are referred to as Bionic Lenses.

iSYS Adaptive Lenses also provide means whereby people can photograph precise replications of their visual experiences. Internet and television service will be enjoyed with the same three dimensional, wrap-around qualities as experienced by a person who has perfect vision. Dr. Webb has coined the phenomenon as the Authentic Human Visual Experience. Viewers will experience life-like images, simply by looking through light-weight non prescription lenses. It is anticipated that today's computer technology, in conjunction with iSYS Adaptive Lens designs, will empower human beings like no other time in recorded history.

Dr. Webb is also the innovator of a new concept in the processing liquid consumables. Presently, this technology is being formatted for dental care products, cosmetics, hypodermics and ophthalmic pharmaceuticals. Soon to be released, it will become the new standard for many health related products, due to its ability to generate considerable consumer value at nominal cost.

Dr. Webb has established a corporate initiative called Celebration of Sight. It is a multinational affiliation of eye doctors that focuses resource from business operations to humanitarian need and the advance of sustainable vision care service.
